The Truxedo Lo Profile tonneau cover is the successor to the original Truxedo cover. As a second-generation cover, the Truxedo LoPro has higher quailty constructionion, seals better, looks better, and is easier to operate than the original Truxedo cover. As the original Truxedo was a market leading design for many years, this is quite an accomplishment.
The Truxedo Lo Pro is an inside-mount tonneau cover that mounts to the inside of the truck's bed rails. The Velcro attachment is at an angle selected to play to the strength of the Velcro in holding the tarp to the frame. The tarp is one of the heaviest in the industry, which is why Truxedo is able to offer a lifetime warranty on the tarp as well as the frame.
Truxedo Lo Pro Operation
Open the tailgate and release the lever on the driver side. Roll the tail rail assembly and bow to the front of the truck and secure in place with the retaining straps.
Or, release the cab rail lever and completely remove the tarp and hoops. To reinstall the cab rail, just snap it in place inside the retaining brackets.
To close the Truxedo Lo Pro cover, release the retaining straps and unroll the cover to the tailgate. Place the tail rail assembly in the brackets, and rotate in place. This will tension the tarp the length of the vehicle. Then rub your hands down the sides to engage the Velcro.
